Moving goods into Great Britain (GB) after it leaves the European Union requires an Entry Summary Declaration (also known as an ENS) which contains safety and security (S&S) information about the goods.
An airline carrying cargo into the Great Britain (England, Scotland and Wales) is required to make the ENS declaration within the legal time limit.
An airline has to first register for the S&S GB service, and through a certified Community System Provider to submit the Entry Summary Declarations on its behalf. Global Logistics System (HK) Company Limited (GLS) is a certified Community System Provider for its EzyCustomsTM application.
We have migrated our airline customers to the new GB Customs platform before the deadline. Thai Airways was the first airline to resume London services from Bongkok to London on 3 January 2021. Our systems have faciliate Thai Airways gone through the new declarations requirement without any defect.
Apart from Thai Airways, GLS serves AirBridgeCargo, Cathay Pacific Airways, and EVA Air.
