Global Logistics System (HK) Co., Ltd (“GLS”) has successfully completed the latest audit signifying its compliance with the Cargo iQ quality standards.
SGS conducted the audit in Hong Kong in March for two days, examining major areas of Quality Management, Continuous Improvements and Risk Management. GLS as a provider of our Easy Data Management Platform (“EDMP™”), the audit also covers the compliance of Cargo iQ specification and related audit requirement for CDMP provider”
Cargo iQ has since 2017 introduced the audit by the external auditor SGS. Members are audited every three years to ensure they meet the latest quality standards.
“As a certified Cargo iQ member and a CDMP provider, it is always our goal to support our customers in delivering the Cargo iQ value in linking participants to create transparency through shared shipment planning, and help to measure, check and improve processes and products in achieving continuous performance improvements,” said Mr. Simon Ng, CEO of GLS. “With our consistent commitment to the compliance and quality of our EDMP™ product, we are particularly happy to be among the first group of members in passing this latest round of Cargo iQ audit.”

Passing the recent audit confirms the extension of GLS membership and an accredited CDMP provider for another three years.
