Global Logistics System (GLS) successfully launched the new Cathay Pacific Cargo’s ‘Click & Ship’ booking platform for dynamic space and rates requests.
Developed by GLS, a close technology partner of Cathay Pacific Cargo in the vision of cargo digitalization, the booking platform includes the customer facing booking page and an internal rate management and optimization rules engine to enable the instant offer of quotes and space.

Cathay Pacific Cargo Click & Ship is the airline’s latest innovation towards cargo automation and digitalization. Click & Ship will be gradually introduced throughout the airline’s network and can be accessed through the GLS EzyCargo™ platform (www.ezycargo.com) and the airline’s website (www.cathaypacificcargo.com).
Riding on this development, GLS is enhancing the EzyCargo™ booking capability to provide forwarders a one stop shopping experience for multiple airlines. Airlines can also benefit from the EzyCargo™ forwarder network to expand its market reach. Available features include schedule and availability checking, fare quote, and instant booking confirmation.
On top of quotation and booking function, GLSHK also released next level Track and Trace that help airlines and forwarders to improve the shipment visibility. For mail cargo, EzyPost™ have been used by multiple airlines which facilitate the business cooperation between airlines and global post offices.
