Commercial Manager

Job Responsibilities:

  • Formulate market / solutions development strategies
  • Plan and oversee the implementation of all business development and marketing activities
  • Lead the business development / marketing teams to achieve / exceed company goals
  • Recruit and manage business partners to support GLSHK’s global customer base
  • Initiate and develop solid business relationship with government authorities, key stakeholders in the industry
  • Represent GLSHK to participate and speak in industry events and functions
  • Motivate, coach and supervise staff

Job Requirements: 

  • University Graduate in Business Administration, Information Technology or related fields
  • Minimum 8 years experience in corporate sales and marketing preferably from logistics, freight forwarding, airline industry (candidate with a solid IT background highly preferred)
  • Track record in developing new business markets (overseas) from scratch
  • Strategic thinker with strong leadership and people management skills
  • Excellent negotiation, communications and organizational skills
  • Good presentation skills
  • Good command of written and spoken English, Mandarin and Cantonese
  • Frequent Travel is needed
